Last year, I had a bit of a play around with using straws to create texture. None of my experiments were successful but they gave me some great ideas, I hope to come back to them one day.  These are some of the images I came across while researching. Wouldn't mind giving a few of these projects a go.

Have to get myself a pair of these babies

Just spent a few days camping tepee style. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool, putting feathers in my hair and being amongst nature. Even managed to pull my sketch book out for a few minutes.
